Sirajuddin had been living in Jaipur since April 2014 and working with the IOC as Marketing Manager (Sales). The ATS said it had “solid information” on Sirajuddin. “You could say he was recruiting people for the IS. He had created several groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and other social media platforms to publicise IS ideology,” Alok Tripathi, Additional DGP (ATS), told The Indian Express. Sirajuddin has confessed he was working for the IS and the ATS is now investigating if he has other links in Rajasthan. Police seized Sirajuddin’s laptop and several issues of Dabiq, the IS propaganda journal, from his Jawahar Enclave residence in Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur.
