Lahore: India on Tuesday handed over 19 Pakistani prisoners to the authorities at the Wagah land border crossing. The prisoners included 17 fishermen, a 10-year-old boy and an eighty-year-old man. Reuters[/caption] After crossing over to the Pakistani side, the prisoners kissed the ground. Security personnel and workers of the NGO Edhi Foundation greeted them with flowers and sweets. They were also served a meal. The prisoners will be handed over to their relatives after authorities verify their identity, officials said. PTI
