India’s Naval Forces maintained a high level of international activity throughout October 2025, clearly demonstrating New Delhi’s strategy to strengthen global maritime partnerships.

The Navy’s actions reflect a clear effort to assert its presence and strengthen ties in important ocean regions.

The schedule was packed: Indian ships made strategic port calls heading east to deepen diplomatic and defence ties with Asian nations.

At the same time, the Navy kept up its vital security presence in the Gulf of Aden, a crucial global shipping route, to help in anti-piracy operations and ensure stability.
