South Korean Ambassador in India Chang Jae-Bok has said that high-level participation by his country is possible if the Government of India issues the invitation for the Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya. “Ayodhya is very important for both of us, historically…You will have a very important inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. For now, to have a high-level representation…the Central Government or UP Government should elaborate on the programme…,” said Jae-Bok.

“However, we will work on that (South Korean high-level participation), if the Government of India issues the invitation for the Ram temple inauguration,” he added. The Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya is reportedly going to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi between 21-24 January, 2024. Citing senior seers of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, media reports have said that the inauguration will definitely happen in the third week of January, 2024. The preparations (pooja) for the inauguration will start on Jan 14 and the inauguration date will be finalised after confirmation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reported The Hindu.
