A 28-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday after her hair got entangled in the rear wheel of a go-kart at Panchkula in Haryana on Wednesday.

The women, identified as Puneet Kaur from Bhatinda, was on vacation with her husband and two-year-old son at an amusement park near Yadavindra Gardens in Panchkula. She was riding a go-kart with her husband when her hair got stuck in the ride after the first lap concluded, DNA reported.
According to The Free Press Journal , Kaur was immediately rushed to a Civil Hospital in Panchkula where she was declared brought dead.
The body of the deceased was later handed over to the family after initial inquiry, the report added.
Speaking to The Tribune , SHO of the Pinjore police station, Inspector Sukhbir Singh said that although the woman was wearing a helmet, her hair got entangled in the axle and got pulled out.
The police have not registered an FIR as no one recorded a statement the officer stated.
According to The Times of India , the family declined to file any complaint, calling it an accidental death.
Hindustan Times quoted Neeraj Gupta, manager of Yadavindra Gardens, as saying that one person is tasked with ensuring that all the people wear proper headgear and follow other rules in the go-kart.
The go-karting activity has been shut down and a departmental probe has been ordered, the report added.
