Haryana: Professor in Rajkiya College near Sonipat shot dead by unidentified student; investigation underway

A lecturer in Rajkiya College near Haryana’s Sonipat was shot dead by a student inside the institute’s premises on Tuesday, according to media reports.

Media reports said that the suspect is yet to be identified.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when a student walked into the college’s staff room and fired three bullets at the professor, CNN-News18 reported. The professor was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
