New Delhi: Gold prices on Wednesday rose Rs 132 to Rs 47,071 per 10 grams in the futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid firming spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for the October delivery traded higher by Rs 132, or 0.28 percent, to Rs 47,071 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 10,328 lots. Fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in gold prices, analysts said. Gold prices traded 0.08 percent higher at $1,799.90 per ounce in New York.
