Representational image[/caption] Security sources said that the alert was issued based on an input generated by the Defence Intelligence Agency. The input was shared with the Multi Agency Centre (MAC) earlier this week following which it was disseminated to the concerned states. However, it is not specific in nature, sources said. “The alert is very general in nature but security measures have been enhanced,” a senior security official said.
