Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Sunday that his nation is not opposed to talks to settle the Ukraine crisis, but that they must take into consideration “the realities on the ground” as well as the causes that have accumulated as a result of “NATO’s aggressive policy.”

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a strong case for expanding the UN Security Council and reforming all global institutions, claiming that they should reflect the world’s “new realities” since it is nature’s rule that those who do not evolve with the times lose significance.
