Leaders of G20 member countries have arrived in New Delhi for the annual summit that is being held under India’s presidency this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X, formerly Twitter, to welcome world leaders for the 18th G20 Summit that will be held at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 9 and 10 September. 2022. I had met him recently in Johannesburg and I am happy to be getting the opportunity to meet him again at the G20 Summit. His views on various subjects will be eagerly awaited.”

Key leaders attending the Summit US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida are among the key leaders who are attending the event in the country’s capital city. Notably, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be taking part in the high-profile summit. China, however, will be represented at the summit by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will represent Russia. India hosting G20 Summit for the first time This is the first time that the G20 Summit is being hosted by India. The countries taking part in the G20 Summit include Nigeria, Argentina, Italy, the AU (represented by Comros), and South Africa. Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Japan Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Korea, Egypt, Australia, the United States, Canada, China, Russia, the UAE, Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey Spain, Germany, France, Mexico, the European Union, and Singapore.
