The iconic Ford Mustang was launched in India on Tuesday at Rs 65 lakh, reported The Financial Express.

According to India Today
, the Indian version of the Ford Mustang will see the flagship 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8 engine that generates 420 bhp and 515 Nm of torque with automatic transmission. The new Ford Mustang also features launch control, electronic line-lock and drive modes. The Ford Mustang, priced at Rs 65 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi, would attract import duties as it will be sold in India through the Completely Built Up (CBU) route, reported The Financial Express
. ”We are not really targeting any age group particularly with the Mustang. Traditional definitions of customer segments are blurring, ” The Times of India
quoted Anurag Mehrotra, Ford’s executive director of marketing and sales. More than 9 million units of the Ford Mustang have been sold across the world since its launch in 1964, the report added.
