Times of India quoted Firoz Khan, Air India official at the Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal as saying, “The direct flight from New Delhi to Bengaluru made an emergency landing at Bhopal airport on Monday. The reason was that its cockpit door was not opening. The flight landed in Bhopal around 6 pm and was at the airport for 2 hours. Once our technical engineers fixed the problem, the flight took off around 8 pm.”
Locked out, while the main pilot tried his best to get the cockpit door open, the other pilot inside the cockpit decided to make an emergency landing.
