Gurgaon: Two Delhi-based women were gang-raped here by three men in a moving car early Thursday while returning home from a pub, police said. The two women had hired a car outside the Sahara Mall for Rs.300 to go to Tughlaqabad area in south Delhi. The driver, however, let two other men into the car. The car was then diverted to the Gurgaon-Faridabad road where the men gang-raped them in the moving car “for some hours”, a police officer told IANS. All this while four friends of the accused followed their car in another vehicle, police said. The women were later dumped on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road. The victims then contacted police. Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal said five cab drivers have been arrested for the crime. The accused were identified as Devender, Promod, Haneesh Khan and Satish. Another accused, also named Devender, was also arrested. “They are all cab drivers basically from different cities but living in Nathupur village area on rented accommodation, two accused are absconding,” said. Police did not disclose the name of the absconding accused. IANS
