A level 2 fire reportedly broke out on the sets of dance reality show Super Dancer at the RK Films and Studios in Chembur sending out plumes of black smoke into the air on Saturday afternoon.

PS Rahangdale, the chief of the Mumbai fire brigade, said that the fire was called in at 2.22 pm.
Firefighters arrived on the spot at 2.37 pm. No injuries have been reported so far.
According to initial reports, the fire was said to be confined to electric wiring, electric installations, and decoration equipment in 100x80 sq ft area on the ground floor of the structure.
After an initial assessment, the fire brigade called it in as a level 2 fire at 3.04 pm.
Two small hose lines of six fire engines are currently working to douse the fire. According to officials, five water tankers and twelve ambulances are also pressed into service.
Times Now said that the fire broke out on the second floor of the studio building.
The RK studio, based on VN Purav Marg in Chembur, houses the logistics of the RK Films production company, both established by and named after Bollywood actor, producer, and director Raj Kapoor.
The cause of the fire will be ascertained after a proper inquiry, said another official. The busy area witnessed traffic snarl as fire tenders, water tankers and several ambulances were rushed to the site, an eyewitness said.
According to ANI, the fire broke out on the sets of the TV show, Super Dancer.
"None of the crew members were present on the set with today being a Saturday," the news agency tweeted. Visuals released by the news agency showed that the set crumbling in the fire.
IANS quoted a source from the show saying, "Luckily, no one has got injured as the set of the show was locked and no one was shooting.... We shot at the location last week, and the next shoot was scheduled for 29 or 30 September."
The second season of the show, which will feature actress Shilpa Shetty, ace choreographer Geeta Kapur and filmmaker Anurag Basu as judges, is slated to go on air on 30 September. Its promos are already on air.
The source added that the audition episodes have already been shot.
"The fire mishap will not delay the show, and its premiere date will remain the same," the source said.
An official statement from the channel is expected to be released soon.
