Family offloaded from IndiGo flight at Mumbai airport for alleged unruly behaviour

A family of four was offloaded from an IndiGo flight at Mumbai airport on Tuesday, after one of them allegedly pushed a woman member of airline crew when she didn’t allow him to use the washroom as it was being cleaned, reports NDTV. The family is reported to have filed an FIR against one of the ground staff members of the airline. [caption id=“attachment_2484250” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Representational image. Reuters](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/IndiGo1_Reuters1.jpg) Representational image. Reuters[/caption] According to NDTV, the complaint alleged that one member of the family, being a diabetes patient, wanted to use the washroom during the boarding routine but he wasn’t allowed to do so. On seeing the pilot use the washroom, he forced the crew to allow him in as well. According to airline officials, the passenger pushed the woman crewmember, after which airline security decided to offload the family. Help was sought from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after the passengers refused to deboard, according to airport officials. The family was subsequently taken to Airport police station at the domestic terminal where they filed the complaint. Read the full report and the statement from IndiGo spokesperson on NDTV here.
