Former millionaire and the editor of the Marathi magazine Grihalakshmi, Sunita Naik is back on the streets barely a month after a family agreed to adopt her. Naik, who once owned a bungalow in Pune, two flats in Worli and two cars, was living on the streets outside a gurudwara after her funds from having sold her properties and cars dried up. Ibnlive[/caption] After the media reported on her situation a couple Gregory and Christine Misquitta had agreed to adopt her. However, according to an India Today report Naik moved out of her adopted home with her dog, Shashi, on Monday after things “did not work out” between Naik and the Misquittas. Naik has reportedly told the gurudwara officials that though the Misquittas treated her well, she moved out due to disagreements with them on various issues. We had wholeheartedly welcomed her in our home. However, there were a number of issues. Sunita regularly wanted to have mutton. I bought it once but I could not afford it regularly," Gregory Misquitta was quoted as saying in the report.
