Episode #7: What’s keeping eligible Indians from casting their vote?

The stage is set for the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 and Network 18’s #ButtonDabaoDeshBanao initiative wants to encourage citizens to participate in the electoral process and help take the total voter turnout higher than it has ever been. Episode 7 sees News18 India’s Senior Editor, Jyoti Kamal head to Lovely Professional University campus in Jalandhar to discuss the importance of voting, the role of the youth and voter expectations in Punjab with a panel of experts. In attendance are students from the university watching the lively discussion between Social Activist Deepak Rana, Neta App creator Pratham Mittal, Professor and Executive Dean of Lovely Professional University Sanjay Modi and Co-Founder of UniRely Srishti Mittal.
