US President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. visited the famous monument Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra on his India tour on Thursday. Earlier, he arrived in the city with a large contingent of over 125 people from more than three dozen countries.
This is the second India visit of Donald Trump Jr. He last visited the country in February 2018, when he travelled to New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Kolkata.
Trump Jr. is visiting along with 126 special guests from 40 countries. The purpose of his visit to India is likely to attend a high-profile destination wedding of an Indian American couple in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.
During his tour of the Taj Mahal, Trump Jr. was seen getting photographed on its premises like millions of visitors do every year.

Tightened security
Ahead of his planned visit, a team from a US Security Agency has already arrived in Udaipur to review the security arrangements. Nearly 200 police personnel have been deployed, including officers of ACP and ADC rank.
The wedding will take place on November 21 and 22. The venue of the wedding will be Jag Mandir Palace, located amidst Lake Pichola.
Star-studded wedding
Several politicians and Indian celebrities are also expected to arrive at the venue. The state administration has already started enforcing special security arrangements in the city.
Trump Jr. will be staying at The Leela Palace, Udaipur as per news sources.
Udaipur is known for its cultural beauty and its lavish heritage makes it one of India’s most picturesque wedding destinations.
