The AAP government’s decision to implement an odd-even formula for cars to address worsening air pollution in the National Capital has been ridiculed endlessly. Some of the criticism is well-deserved given the apparent lack of preparedness for such a drastic measure to be implemented. Keeping half the vehicles off the roads every day is no easy job, and it doesn’t serve as an effective solution to the problem either. But there’s only so much the government can do. This space will remain open for three days. Feel free to contribute. Firstpost will then compile and submit the most practical suggestions to the Delhi government.
