Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation following the Red Fort blast, switching to English to directly warn those behind the attack. He said the conspirators “will not be spared.”

Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the Red Fort blast.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded. Israel stands with India in its fight against terror,” said a statement from Israel’s Foreign Ministry.

The United Kingdom has issued a travel advisory following the explosion at Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advised against all travel within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border.

“The Wagah-Attari border crossing is closed. FCDO advises against all travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir—including Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Srinagar city, and the Jammu-Srinagar national highway—except for travel by air to and from Jammu city, or travel within Jammu city,” the advisory stated.

Police have detained another doctor from Kashmir in connection with the ongoing terror investigation. Dr Sajad, a resident of Bandzoo in Pulwama, has been taken into custody. Dr Sajad Ahmad Malla, also known as Nazir Ahmad Malla, is an MBBS and MD.

He is the fourth doctor arrested in the Kashmir-Faridabad-Delhi terror case. Authorities are probing his links as part of the expanding terror module investigation.

Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, on behalf of the Supreme Court judges and the legal fraternity, expressed deep concern over the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday.

“We are all deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in the blast,” CJI Gavai said.

He added, “We convey our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this devastating tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are grieving, as well as with the injured and others affected. We hope the collective compassion and solidarity of the nation will offer some comfort in this hour of sorrow.”

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that he was “deeply saddened” by the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort .

He said the attack “deserves the strongest condemnation” and extended his condolences to the victims and their families.

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Tuesday expressed condolences and solidarity with India following the car blast near Delhi’s historic Red Fort on Monday evening, which killed 13 people and injured more than 20.

In a post on X, the president conveyed his deep sorrow over the tragedy and extended support to the people of India.

Following the Red Fort blast, security agencies, guided by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, have traced multiple leads in a terror module, except for the doctor who carried out the suicide attack in the Metro parking, says a report from India Today.

The attacker had been under surveillance after pro-Jaish-e-Mohammed posters appeared in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Investigations intensified after large quantities of cash, ammonium nitrate, and assault rifles were recovered in Faridabad, near Delhi.

Agencies are probing links with Pakistani handlers who reportedly communicated via Telegram. Evidence of the network spans multiple states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.

Uttar Pradesh: Bilal Khan of Saharanpur arrested for AQIS links; over 4,000 Pakistani numbers traced; tried to set up an online network for violent Sharia enforcement.

Gujarat: Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed, Azad Suleman Sheikh, and Mohammed Suhail Mohammad Saleem arrested for chemical weapons plots; pistols, explosives, and ricin-related materials seized; coordination linked to ISKP in Afghanistan.

Multi-state module: Police busted a network across J&K, UP, and Haryana tied to JeM and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind; eight people, including three doctors, were involved in recruitment, radicalisation, arms procurement, and IED preparation. Seized items included 2,900 kg explosives, firearms, chemicals, and electronic components.

The National Security Guard (NSG) carried out an investigation at the site of the Red Fort blast in Delhi, to determine the cause of the explosion.

China expressed shock on Tuesday over the Monday blast in Delhi that killed 13 people and injured several others.

“We are shocked by the incident,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a media briefing. He offered condolences to the victims, extended sympathies to the families of the deceased and injured, and wished a speedy recovery to those hurt in the blast.

The Tamil Nadu Coast Guard has stepped up security measures along the state’s coastline following recent security concerns. Patrols and surveillance have been increased at key coastal areas.

Delhi Police have started probing the Red Fort blast as an act of terror and registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.

On Tuesday, a case was filed under Sections 16 and 18 of the UAPA, PTI reported. Section 16 covers acts of terrorism, while Section 18 deals with conspiracy to carry out a terrorist act.
