All three accused were produced before the court through a virtual conference on Tuesday.

AAP chief Kejriwal was arrested on the night of March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on allegations that he was the “key conspirator” in the money laundering case registered in the matter.

On March 22, the Delhi CM was produced before Judge Baweja who initially remanded the AAP leader to ED custody till March 28.

On March 28, his ED custody was further extended.

On April 1, the AAP chief was remanded to judicial custody till April 15 which was then extended till today.

Meanwhile, on April 10, the Delhi High Court dismissed Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest, observing that ED was able to place enough material, statements of approvers and AAP’s own candidate stating that the Delhi CM was given money for Goa elections.

The High Court’s order was challenged by Kejriwal before the Supreme Court. The apex court had issued notice on the plea but refused to grant any interim relief.

Meanwhile, Kavitha was arrested on March 15 by the ED. She was later arrested by CBI while she was in judicial custody in the money laundering case.

The BRS leader has been denied interim bail in ED case. Her regular bail pleas in both cases are pending adjudication before the trial court.
