Cops stop car in West Bengal’s Bankura district, find 2500 detonators inside

Bankura: In a huge haul, police have seized 2500 detonators from Bankura district of West Bengal. At least 500 packets each containing 50 detonators were seized from a vehicle at Amdanga under Gangajalbhati Police Station last evening, district SP Sudhir Kumar Nilkanta said. As the police approached, the driver, including other persons in the car, managed to escape leaving the vehicle, the SP said. Police is searching for those involved. PTI
