Chennai: Nearly a week after the twin blasts on Kaziranga express that killed a woman and injured four, hoax bomb calls to central railway station and a private hospital have kept the police busy. Soon after an anonymous caller warned of a bomb explosion at Central railway station, various teams, including bomb disposal squads, were pressed into action only to discover that it was a hoax call, police said. This is the second such instance of hoax calls keeping police on their toes, as a spate of such rumours had kept them busy the very next day of the May Day blasts in two coaches of Bangalore-Guwahati Express at Central station here. Police had already warned of strict action against rumour mongers. PTI
