Ceasefire violations continue as Pak troops open fire on army posts in Uri

Srinagar: Pakistan violated ceasefire in Uri sector along the Line of Control by opening indiscriminate fire on Indian posts, Army sources said today. The Pakistani troops opened fire on three Indian posts in Kamal Kote area of Uri sector in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday afternoon, the sources said. Reuters reported that two Pakistani soldiers were wounded in an exchange of fire with Indian troops on Tuesday, quoting officials on both sides. According to the Reuters report a Pakistani military official as blaming “unprovoked Indian firing” for injuries to the two Pakistani soldiers.
