CBSE Class 12 accountancy paper reportedly leaked on WhatsApp and social media; probe ordered

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 accountancy exam paper has reportedly been leaked on WhatsApp and social media. AFP[/caption] According to News18 , CBSE’s top panel is conducting a review meeting to probe the issue and will eventually decide whether the exam needs to be scrapped altogether. Another report in The Indian Express quoted sources as saying that the paper had been doing the rounds on WhatsApp and social media since Wednesday. CNN-News18 also reported that copies of the paper were sent out at around 9.45 am on Thursday. The news channel also reported that CBSE was likely to cancel Thursday’s Accountancy exam. Delhi education minister Manish Sisodia also tweeted about the alleged leak and said he had asked officers of the Directorate of Education to probe the matter.

The CBSE board exams for Class 12 began on 5 March.
