CBSE Class 10 results will be out this week: Here's what you need to know

CBSE Class 10 results will be out this week: Here's what you need to know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the results of the Class X examinations on 27 or 28 May on the official websites cbseresults.nic.in or  results.nic.in, according to a report by The Financial Express. The class X exams started on 1 March and finished on 28 March, with a total of 13,73,853 students appearing for them, according to The Indian Express. The report also added that some questions in the mathematics paper were out of syllabus as claimed by some students. In the class XII results that were announced on 21 May, girls once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.58. Boys, meanwhile, recorded 78.85 percent. South India has done better than the other regions with the highest being the Thiruvanathapuram region at 97.61 percent, followed by Chennai at 92.63 percent. For Class XII students, digital marksheets will be available at digilocker.gov.in and the credentials for which will be sent to students via text on their mobile number registered with CBSE. Smriti Irani, Minister for Human Resource Development took to Twitter to offer her congratulations to class XII students:

Hearty congratulations to all CBSE students who have cleared class XII today, especially the toppers Sukriti, Palak, Somya & Ajish.

In conversation with students on social media, Smriti Irani also assured that the class X CBSE results would be declared before 31 May, according to a report by India Today.
