CBI summons don't prove link with Saradha: TMC leader Mukul Roy

Kolkata: With CBI calling some of its party leaders in connection with multi-crore Saradha scam, Trinamool Congress today said the summon issued by the probing agency for interrogation to someone did not prove one’s link with the scam. Addressing a party rally at Keshpur in West Midnapur district, TMC General Secretary Mukul Roy said they would quit if the party’s link with Saradha ponzi scheme scam was proved. Sometimes (CBI) is saying that it will call this person, sometimes is saying it will call that person.”, he said. “If CBI summons anyone does that prove that he is thief?, he said. “I am telling this with responsibility as the general secretary of the party that if anyone in the party including me either in his name individually or by using the party has taken any money from the Saradha (chitfund) or given any special benefits to Saradha (Group) then we will quit the party”, he said.
