In a despicable example of human behaviour an RPF official beat up a physically challenged homeless man at Howrah Station in Kolkata. [caption id=“attachment_2070323” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  IBN image[/caption] In a CNN-IBN report, the witnesses claim the RPF personnel ordered the man to leave the station and when he did not move out, the official brutally thrashed him. ANI’s Twitter account posted the video showing the disabled man being beaten up while he lies helplessly on the station platform with his crutches next to him. The video also shows a women trying to step in and help the man.

The horrified and stunned passengers claim they had to physically pull the official off the physically challenged man. Though the victim was admitted to a local hospital his whereabouts are unknown. There is no information of where he went missing overnight. Despite of the incident being captured on the cameras, the RPF says that they have not been able to identify the officer involved and will take action only after he is recognised.
