Businessman rams Hummer on a security guard in fit of rage

Thrissur: In a fit of rage, a businessman allegedly rammed his luxury vehicle on a security guard of a posh apartment complex in Kerala for delay in opening the gate, injuring him seriously. The businessman, Muhammad Nizam, was arrested while injured guard Chandrabose had been hospitalised, police said. AFP[/caption] According to the Indian Express, “Nizam is managing director of Tirunelveli-based King Beedi Co. Apart from being a prominent tobacco supplier, he has hotel and jewellery businesses in the Middle East. His cars include Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Road Ranger, Ferrari and Jaguar.” Nizam allegedly roughed up the guard, dragged him to the wall of the parking lot and ran his Hummer vechile on him, injuring him seriously, they said. “Police said Nizam first tortured the security guard when there was a delay in opening the gate. To escape from Nizam, the guard rushed behind the fountain near the gate. Then, Nizam turned his massive beast Hummer on the hapless man and pressed him against the wall using the vehicle. He continued to attack the security guard using iron rod. Later, he was rescued by other security guards,” reported the Indian Express. Police had earlier booked Nizam for posting on the social media the photographs of his 7-year-old son driving Ferrari car. According the police the businessman is also facing other charges for ‘anti-social’ activities as well. With PTI inputs
