An Air India flight, bound for Bangkok, was forced to park at an isolated area in Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok on Wednesday evening after a bomb scare.
Flight AI 332 from Delhi landed at Suvarnabhumi at 7.10 pm on Wednesday and air traffic controllers directed the pilots to taxi the plane to an area away from other jets for safety reasons, the Bangkok Post quoted Chadanisa Chumnanvej, incharge of operations at Suvarnabhumi airport, as saying.
Airport authorities safely evacuated all 231 passengers, including a child, and 10 crew members from the airport before checking for explosives. Reports said more details are awaited. The flight left New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.
