The News18 Mega Exit Poll predicts that JD(U) will lead the Bihar Assembly race with 60–70 seats, followed closely by the BJP with 55–65 seats. In the Mahagathbandhan camp, the RJD is expected to secure 50–60 seats, while the Congress may finish with 15–20.

If these projections hold true, JD(U) is set for a major rebound from its 2020 tally of 43 seats, emerging as the single largest party in the state.

Opinion polls ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections indicate a strong comeback for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), with projections suggesting a clear majority of 130–160 seats. The RJD-led Mahagathbandhan, despite campaigning on promises of change and development, is expected to win only 70–100 seats.

According to the People’s Pulse survey, the NDA could secure 133–159 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan may get 75–101. The Jan Suraaj Party, led by Prashant Kishor and contesting its first Bihar election, is projected to win 0–5 seats, with other parties taking 2–8.

Dainik Bhaskar’s poll also shows the NDA comfortably ahead with 145–160 seats, the Mahagathbandhan trailing at 73–91, and others capturing up to 10. Similarly, DVC Research projects 137–152 seats for the NDA, 83–98 for the Mahagathbandhan, and 2–4 for Jan Suraaj.

Exit polls by JVC suggest that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to retain power in Bihar, winning 135–150 seats in the 243-member Assembly.
