Being social: Prisoner found posting pics on Facebook, probe ordered

Burdwan (WB): A prisoner, lodged at the Burdwan Correctional Home for the past one year, has been allegedly found posting his pictures and of other inmates on social networking site Facebook, thus causing a flutter among the administration in Burdwan. AFP[/caption] Confirming receiving the report of prisoner Vishal Singh posting pictures of his and some other jail inmates for past few months, a top district official said, “We are holding a probe.” The official said none will be spared if any irregularities were found with respect to prison security. Singh was arrested a year ago in a narcotics case. The ADM said the authorities were also looking into allegations that he chatted on Facebook with outside friends and this was a serious charge. Superintendent of Correctional Home, Subharata Chatterjee said he was looking into the report.
