Bangalore: Unaided by onlookers, 3 women confront misbehaving men

Bangalore: Three unidentified men have been booked for allegedly misbehaving with three young women at Koramangala area in Bangalore, police said today. Police have registered a molestation and assault case against them. [caption id=“attachment_1710897” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Representational image. AFP[/caption] The incident had happened on September 29 around 10 pm near Jyothi Nivas College when the women were heading home, police said. They said three men on a two-wheeler followed them, passed lewd comments and even tried to touch one of them inappropriately. The women did not panic and instead somehow managed to pull down the men from their two-wheeler. Two of them fled the spot leaving the third one behind and he continued to misbehave. He too later fled the spot as onlookers gathered. The women told police that onlookers did not come to their rescue as the incident happened. Officials said the complaint was filed on Wednesday. Investigations are on and the culprits will be nabbed as soon as possible, they said. PTI
