Four people have already been rescued. One child is feared trapped. There has been no casualty so far. They have not ruled out any possibility of casualty. “The building is a old one and that might be the cause of collapse. A clear picture will emerge after the rescue operations are over,” Jain said. Heavy machinery like cranes, excavator and rescue teams are at the spot to carry on with the rescue effort. Some of the patients have been shifted to other facilities in the Madhya Pradesh capital. Kasturba Gandhi Hospital provides free treatment to BHEL employees and to those who are not associated with BHEL. Till ten years ago, the hospital was one of the high profile hospitals in Bhopal.
There has been no report of casualty so far. Heavy machinery like cranes, excavator and rescue teams are at the spot to carry on with the rescue effort.
