 "Army major general found dead, suicide note says he was unhappy with posting")
A serving Army Major General Rajpal Singh was found dead in his residence in the Dwarka area of Delhi on Friday evening in reportedly mysterious circumstances.
Police officials who visited the house found a suicide note, according to a report in IBNLive , and it appeared that Singh had hanged himself.
Singh was the Additional Director-General of the NCC in Bihar and Jharkhand, and he was on Delhi on leave from his posting in Patna.
According to the Hindustan Times , police officials said that Singh had been “depressed” and unhappy with his posting. But army sources said that the suicide could have been because of marital problems.
“We have taken the note into possession and are investigating the matter. He was depressed due to professional reasons,” said AK Ojha, additional CP (southwest) to the Hindustan Times.
