Raipur: BJP President Amit Shah will visit Chhattisgarh on Monday to take part in an event organised here to mark the completion of 13 years of the party-led Raman Singh government in the state. As per the schedule made available by the party, Shah will arrive at the Swami Vivekanand Airport in the morning and leave for the state BJP headquarters where he will inaugurate the library. Later, the BJP President will address the party workers at around 1 pm. Besides Chief Minister Raman Singh, BJP General Secretaries Saroj Pandey and Ram Lal, Joint General Secretary Saudan Singh and Union Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will be present at the programme organised to mark completion of 13 years of the party government in the tribal-dominated state. Shah will leave for the airport in the evening, the spokesperson said. BJP stormed to power for a third consecutive term in the 2013 Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh, which came into existence in November 2000 following bifurcation of Madhya Pradesh. Singh will complete three years of his third term in office on December 12.
