AISA Delhi University president alleges harassment by ABVP members

New Delhi: The All India Students Association (AISA) president of the Delhi University, Kawalpreet Kaur, alleged that she was harassed and verbally abused by the ABVP members of Satyawati College.

She has filed a complaint at the Bharat Nagar police station against the members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the students' wing of the BJP, in this regard.

"I had gone to Satyawati College around 4.30 pm for some academic work, when around 20 students surrounded me. They  asked me about the purpose of my visit and subsequently, started taking my pictures and recording videos of me. "They abused me, raised questions on my character and nationality. They even called me an anti-national and a slut," Kaur alleged in her complaint.
