The Bar Council of India has released the results of The All India Bar Examination XI (AIBE- XI). Candidates can check their results on the website: allindiabarexamination.com.
Students must note that the council has also released a list of candidates whose results have been withheld. The list can be checked here.
According to Hindustan Times, the examination was held on 3 December, 2017.
Follow the steps to check the results:
- Visit barcouncilofindia.org to go to the All India Bar Examination portal or directly visit the site allindiabarexamination.com
- Click on 'Notification for Result AIBE- XI'. Then choose 'Kindly Click here for the Result of AIBE-XI'
- Candidates will be directed to another page, where they will be required to enter their roll number and date of birth to check the results
- Click on submit to check the results. Take a print out for future reference.
Meanwhile, online registration for AIBE-XII examination started on Friday.
The Bar Council of India is a statutory body created by Parliament to regulate and represent the Indian bar. They perform the regulatory function by prescribing standards of professional conduct and etiquette and by exercising disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. They also set standards for legal education and grants recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as qualification for enrolment as an advocate. The Bar Council of India was established by the Parliament under the Advocates Act, 1961.
