New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rajghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi – Thursday morning to pay tributes to the Father of the Nation on his birth anniversary. Modi visited Rajghat ahead of the launch of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Modi had declared that the mission will be launched Oct 2 and that a “clean India” will be the best tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary in 2019. Gandhi had a penchant for cleanliness in his personal habits and strongly promoted it in society.
