The Ministry of Home Affairs is set to hand over a list of wanted gangsters, including Goldy Brar and Anmol Bishnoi, to US authorities for extradition. The move comes ahead of PM Modi’s visit to the United States.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the United States to meet the newly sworn-in President Donald Trump, the Ministry of Home Affairs plans to share a list of names of deadly gangsters with the American authorities to extradite them back to India, News18 reported, citing sources.

The list prepared includes gangsters hiding in the United States and wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the police.

Official sources from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said the Indian government plans to share the list containing the names of dreaded gangsters Goldy Brar and Anmol Bishnoi with the US authorities during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the US this week.

Thus, acting upon the directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, top security agencies prepared the list.

“The Ministry of Home Affairs directed the agencies to prepare a list of 12 criminals, and their criminal dossiers were attached. Also attached is a note on the efforts of Indian agencies to bring them back,” said a source.

Anmol is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is an accused mastermind behind the murder conspiracy of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.

Anmol was arrested in the US in November after immigration authorities discovered he was travelling with fake documents. He has been in a US prison since then.

Goldy Brar is designated as a terrorist by the Centre under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He is the alleged mastermind behind the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Satinderjeet Singh, commonly known as Goldy Brar, is a Canada-based Indian gangster. He hails from Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. He is one of the prominent members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and is wanted by Indian authorities for multiple serious offences, including murder, attempted murder, and drug trafficking.
