The decisions were taken by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot after discussions with Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra because of the second wave of coronavirus infection, the state government said in a statement.
The decisions were taken on a day when the Central Board of Secondary Education cancelled the Class 10 board examination and deferred the class 12 examination to beyond mid-June.
In another development, RR has named South African pacer Gerald Coetzee as a replacement for England batsmen Liam Livingstone, who had pulled out of the tournament due to bio-bubble fatigue.
Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra had said that it is not possible to conduct the examination on 20 June as the priority of the government is to protect the lives of candidates
A new date for the examination will be announced soon
