The website has a notification stating that the admit cards would be available for download with effect from 7 February. The exam is set to be conducted on 25 February.

Starting this year, the AFCAT will be conducted online. In 2017, Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre had launched the online system for the IAF entrance exam.

In a statement, the IAF had said, “The project will be implemented with effect from January 2018 for AFCAT for officer’s cadre and Scheduled Test for Airmen Recruitment (STAR) for airmen cadre.”

According to The Indian Express, the IAF is the first of the three services to use online testing for induction in the officers and airmen cadres. It further reported that the online system will allow nearly four lakh candidates to appear for the airmen selection test and nearly two lakh candidates for the officer’s selection twice a year.
