Abducted Bhopal boy found in jungles, MP Home Minister asks parents to thank Hanuman

A 10-year-old boy from Bhopal, Nishant Zope, who went missing on his way to school on August 14, was found in jungles of Gairatgunj in Raisen district, about 40 km from Bhopal.

A 10-year-old boy from Bhopal, Nishant Zope, who went missing on his way to school on 14 August, was found in jungles of Gairatgunj in Raisen district, about 40 km from Bhopal. The police disclosed that the boy had been kidnapped and the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from parents, reported Hindustan Times. AFP[/caption] More than 100 policemen were specifically deployed for the rescue operation. Also, crime branch and policemen of other cities were also working to track the boy, reported the Times of India. In the wake of police pressure, the kidnappers abandoned the child in the jungles and escaped. A school teacher, Mohan Singh spotted him at around 7.30 am and informed police, senior superintedent of police (SSP), Bhopal, Dr Raman Singh Sikarwar told HT. Kidnappers, believed to be four, including a woman are still on the run. The family, who was clearly overjoyed was joined by neighbors and relative to celebrate Nishant’s return. Madhya Pradesh home minister Babulal Gaur also contacted the parents and told them that Lord Hanuman had saved their son, reported  TOI. “I told his parents to worship Lord Krishna and recite Hanuman Chalisa every day. Hanumanji saved the boy,” the minister told the reporters.
