Ghaziabad: A CBI court hearing the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case today fixed October 10 for start of the final arguments in the case. The arguments were to begin today but the case could not be taken up as condolence was announced after the death of a lawyer. “Lawyers’ union announced a one-day condolence following an advocate’s death, due to which the procedure of final arguments in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case could not begin today. Court has now fixed the matter for October 10,” said Manoj Sisodia, counsel of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar. Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit in her bedroom on May 16, 2008. The initial suspicion was on Hemraj whose body was later found on the terrace at their residence in Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on the outskirts of Delhi. PTI
