Indian stock markets were bullish on Friday, with benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty trading in the green.
The rally was driven by gains in IT stocks following strong earnings reports from Microsoft and Cognizant. Additionally, investor sentiment improved after Donald Trump hinted at a possible trade deal with India.
By around 10 am, the BSE Sensex had risen 904.81 points (1.13 per cent) to 81,147.05, while the NSE Nifty50 was up 234 points (0.96 per cent) at 24,568.20.
