9 terror sites hit 100 km inside Pakistan under Operation Sindoor: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that India launched its most decisive strike yet against cross-border terrorism through Operation Sindoor, targeting key terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistani territory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

“Since assuming power, PM Modi has given such a befitting reply to terrorist attacks that the world is amazed and Pakistan is scared,” Shah said.

Detailing the scale and scope of the operation, Shah said Indian forces successfully destroyed nine locations used by terrorist organisations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. These sites, he said, included training camps and hideouts located as far as 100 km inside Pakistan.

“When Pakistan dared to launch an attack along the entire western border, our Air Defence System responded with such precision that not a single missile or drone breached Indian territory. After eliminating over 100 dreaded terrorists, while Pakistan was still contemplating its next move, we struck 15 of their air bases. Yet, we ensured that no harm came to their civilian population. We effectively destroyed their capability to carry out any future air attacks," he said.
