12 bogies of goods train derails near Chiplun, Konkan route affected

Mumbai: Twelve wagons of a goods train derailed on Tuesday between Chiplun and Kamathe section of the Konkan Railway, disrupting train movement on the route. PTI[/caption] The derailment occurred at 0745 hours and accident relief trains and senior Konkan Railway officials have rushed to the accident spot for an early clearance of the traffic, the Konkan Railway said in a statement.
