The opening ceremony of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 is going to be a star-studded affair. From Shah Rukh Khan to other celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff, and Sidharth Malhotra, several big names will be seen showcasing their powerful performances at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium on 23 February. While preparations are in full swing, a few BTS videos of the stars practicing for their opening ceremony performances have been shared on social media.

In a video shared by WPL’s official Instagram handle , the Jawan actor can be seen being super energetic as he rehearses for his performance at the opening ceremony. As the clip plays, he performs the hook step of ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ from his film while also doing his signature open-arms pose. Dressed in a baggy white sweatshirt paired with cargo pants and sunglasses, Shah Rukh looks dapper as always.

In another clip shared by the WPL, the actor was spotted meeting the players of the Mumbai Indians Women and Delhi Capitals Women, sending his best wishes and blessings before the opening match. Don’t miss SRK teaching Delhi Capitals skipper Meg Lanning his iconic pose. Besides that, King Khan also shared a warm hug with former Indian cricket team skipper Sourav Ganguly, who is presently in Bengaluru on the eve of the tournament opener.
In another video, actor Shahid Kapoor can be seen showing his excitement for the tournament and being able to be a part of it. “I am a huge cricket buff. I love cricket as a sport. I wanted to become a cricketer. Whenever I come into a stadium, I am filled with excitement,” he said, further praising the female cricketers. The clip also shows Shahid practicing for his performance.
