India vs Ireland T20 World Cup match tickets to be released next week

The ticket’s for India’s 2024 T20 World Cup group matches against Ireland and USA will go on sale from 19 March (Tuesday). Apart from India vs Ireland and India vs USA, tickets for 11 more matches in the USA and West Indies will go on sale from Tuesday. The tickets for 37 out of 55 matches in the tournament including India vs Pakistan game had already been released in the past. The ticket sales for the 2024 T20 World Cup which starts on 1 June began on 1 February this year through a public ballot.

The tickets for India vs Pakistan match which will be played on 9 June is over-subscribed by more than 200 times and as per reports are selling on the resale websites for as high as Rs 1.86 crore.

ICC has also announced release of additional public tickets and premium hospitality packages for the 37 matches whose tickets went up for sale on 1 February.

The price of World Cup tickets start from as low as $6 for select matches in the Caribbean, while in the USA from $35.

With additional tickets available for 37 matches and news 13 games, tickets for a total of 51 out of the 55 matches will be up for sale.

“We are delighted to have worked with our commercial partners to be able to release these additional tickets to 51 matches to ensure that we are accommodating as many fans as possible at every ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fixture," Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, said.

Fans can also buy tickets for the semifinals on June 26 and June 27 in West Indies from Tuesday.

Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas: Netherlands v Nepal (4 Jun), United States v Pakistan (6 June), Sri Lanka v Bangladesh (7 Jun)

Guyana National Stadium, Guyana: Semi-Final 2 (27 Jun)

Kensington Oval, Barbados: C1 v A1 – Super Eight (20 Jun), A2 v C2 – Super Eight (21 Jun), A2 v B1 – Super Eight (23 Jun)

Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York: India v Ireland (5 Jun), United States v India (12 Jun)

Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua and Barbuda: A2 v D1 – Super Eight (19 Jun), A1 v D2 – Super Eight (22 Jun)

Apart from tickets, hospitality packages including private suites for venues across West Indies and the Nassau County International Stadium in New York will also be available for sale from Tuesday.

The packages for Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium and Broward County Stadium in USA will be released later.

The 2024 T20 World Cup will include 20 teams and 55 matches, making it the biggest tournament in the shortest format. 16 Matches of the World Cup will be hosted in USA across three venues. This is the first time USA is hosting a cricket World Cup.
