Not even a single ball was bowled on Day three of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium on Sunday due to a wet outfield. This is the second consecutive day when play has been abandoned without a ball being bowled in the second Test, after persistent rain on Saturday forced abandonment.

There was no rain on Sunday but the presence of a few wet patches on the outfield meant that it was impossible for play to happen on the third day. The umpires even had multiple inspections throughout the morning and afternoon.
